Whatchu know about anodization? Most commonly, we anodize titanium to a gold color for our gold girlies who are balling on a budget, but there is a whole rainbow of possibilities! The cool thing about anodizing is that your jewelry isn't painted or plated, so it's safe to wear even in fresh piercings. It's an electrochemical process that changes the way light bounces off the jewelry, making it look different to our eye. And we anodize for free! We custom fit the industrial (not pierced by us) with white bullet cut opals and added a daith all anodized to a blue tone. #hawthornbodyart #tempestpiercing #overlandpark #safepiercing

2025 was so full. There’s no way to capture how this year went for us, from the deepest lows to the highest highs. This year gave us so much more than we could have imagined, though. We got to open Hawthorn with our best friend @_unfreakish_ ! We got to take a dream and turn it into our every day. We got to create a place rooted in compassion, warmth, and care. A place we get to take care of our community, and do the work that matters to us. It has meant the world that you all have turned out and supported us, told your friends, and helped our small businesses thrive. Thank you so, so much. This has been a year of unimaginable growth. It's the hardest thing we've ever done, but its also been the absolute best. We are so excited to see what 2026 has in store for us. ✨️Cheers to the new year!✨️
