Hi friends! Kat and I are going to Wichita to work with our friends at Wichita Piercing Co. for a week. We're excited to have this opportunity to learn new things and pick up some new ideas that we can share at Hawthorn! It also happens to be that our tattoo artists, Jamie and Olivia, are also out of town for the beginning of the same week. So, Hawthorn will be closed until Friday, August 22nd. Kat and I will be back Tuesday, August 26th, ready to get back in action! Onward, toward adventure!

The maple leaf in the first picture is sitting on a bit of silver maple that I found right in our backyard! I hit a root while mowing and popped off this perfect little chunk, so of course, I had to clean it up and add it to my collection for photos 😅 These pieces never last long though, so if you see something you love let's get you in for an appointment!
